Two Mounting Options for Your Needs
Wall-Mounted
This version is designed for mounting to a wall – it requires a solid brick or concrete wall. Don't even try it with drywall 🙂. The load-bearing frame can be attached to the wall using the included anchors and screws, or by gluing in threaded rods.
Freestanding
This version is completely freestanding – it requires absolutely no drilling into the wall. Ideal for spaces where drilling is problematic, typically where walls are made of drywall, or for rental apartments.
Main Board and Kickboard Dimensions
We manufacture walls in 10 main board sizes from 6' × 8' (180 × 240 cm) to 12' × 12' (360 × 360 cm). Pick exactly the size that suits you!

Due to varying ceiling heights, you can choose from 3 versions of the kickboard (the lower vertical panel used for footholds):
0 cm
No kickboard – the lowest version of the wall with just the base plate. Ideal for low-ceiling spaces.
20 cm
Half kickboard. If conditions allow even slightly, we recommend at least a 20 cm kickboard. If endurance training is your priority, choose this version.
40 cm
Full kickboard – the tallest version, most comfortable for sit-starts and placing crash pads. Choose this version if you plan to climb on overhangs of 35° or steeper.
Hole Pattern
Choose your hole pattern based on whether you plan to install an LED system, and if so, which one. You select the pattern when configuring your wall.
LAMA pattern Max. holds: 50 pcs/m²
The bolt hole pattern forms a doubled grid of 20 × 20 cm (48 holes per panel). T-nuts for M10 bolts are installed in the holes. This layout is universal. The dense hole spacing allows maximum use of the wall surface.
Choose this layout if you don't plan to install an LED system.
Tension Board pattern Max. holds: 50 pcs/m²
The bolt hole pattern is doubled grid of 20 × 20 cm (48 holes per panel). T-nuts are not installed in the holes – the holes are used directly for LED installation and holds are attached to the wall with screws.
Choose this layout if you plan to install the Tension Board LED system. The LED system is not included with the wall.
Kilter Board pattern Max. holds: 50 pcs/m²
The bolt hole pattern is doubled grid of 20 × 20 cm (48 holes per panel). The main holes have T-nuts for M10 bolts installed. On either side of each main hole are two additional holes for LED system installation.
Choose this layout if you plan to install the Kilter Board LED system. The LED system is not included with the wall.
MoonBoard pattern Max. holds: 50 pcs/m²
The bolt hole pattern forms a 20 × 20 cm grid (24 holes per panel). T-nuts for M10 bolts are installed in the holes. There are holes for LED installation beneath the T-nut holes.
Choose this layout if you plan to install the MoonBoard LED system. The LED system is not included with the wall.
Angle Adjustment and Safety
Depending on the configuration, the wall angle can be adjusted in a range of approximately 10–45° (the version without a kickboard: 10–40°).
10–15°
is ideal for aerobic endurance training – endless laps on positive holds, an important part of fundamental climbing training
25–30°
is great for more technical boulders or strength endurance training – medium-length laps on more demanding holds
40–45°
is the profile for short power boulders that will teach you to push properly through your feet and improve the strength of your fingers and entire body

The wall holds rock solid at any angle – secured by three independent mechanisms working in unison.

Winch
Manual or electric, mounted on the left or right side. Sets and adjusts the wall angle.

Dyneema Safety Straps
One on each side. Prevent the main board from moving toward or away from the wall under any circumstances.

Locking Struts
Slot-and-bolt struts lock the angle in place – just look and you can see the setting. No measuring needed.
Set It Up Anywhere!
The entire Home Wall system is modular – assembled from smaller components, which has at least two advantages:
First – the entire wall can be shipped on a pallet virtually anywhere in the world (and you can comfortably take it up an elevator to the tenth floor of an apartment building). Individual parts have a maximum length of 120 cm, making transport, handling and assembly easy.
Second – the individual structural components can be freely combined and potentially expanded in the future (so if you move to a larger apartment where a slightly bigger wall fits, the Home Wall can simply be enlarged without having to buy everything again).
Set It with Holds!
- Maximum number of holds: 50 pcs / m² (depending on the pattern you select in the configurator)
- Reasonable minimum to use the wall's potential: 20–25 holds / m²
- The lower section of the wall usually only has footholds – another reason we recommend at least a 20 cm kickboard.
What's in the Box
Home Wall is delivered including:
- Complete hardware kit
- Basic tools (Torx TX20 bit, PZ20 bit, size 17 wrench and size 8 mm hex key)
- Panels with pre-drilled holes and installed T-nuts (except for the Tension Board pattern)
- Winch (manual or electric) with steel cable
- Safety straps and struts for maximum rigidity and structural safety
- Wall mounting hardware, quality Fischer DuoPower anchors and bolts (wall-mounted version only)
- Several spare T-nuts in case you strip one when mounting holds (happens extremely rarely)
- Assembly manual (sent as PDF – IKEA-style instructions)
- An extra dose of motivation!
For assembly you'll need nothing more than a bit of skill and a cordless drill (ideally two). For wall installation a spirit level and tape measure will also come in handy.
Holds are not included with the wall and must be purchased separately (and of course wooden ones are the best 🙂). If you're not sure which holds to choose, contact us at via email and we'll put together a custom package for you.
Main Board Paint Finish
For an additional fee we can paint the main panels of the wall. We paint the main board in a grey anthracite, non-toxic water-based paint (suitable even for children's toys). We apply two coats; the support structure is left untreated. The surcharge may slightly extend production time. Note – painting the main board does not change the fact that the wall is designed for indoor use only. It is an aesthetic treatment that also increases the main board's resistance to scuffing, etc.

Lama Home Wall is delivered by pallet freight. We ship (almost) anywhere in the world. We have shipped Home Wall to Spain, Belgium, the United Kingdom, France, Italy, the USA, the Philippines or Dubai, among others :)

- Option to pick up at our warehouse – the wall fits in a smaller car with the rear seats folded down

Use:
✔ Lama Home Wall is intended for indoor use only.
✔ If you want to install Home Wall outdoors, the wall must be covered by some kind of roof structure – unfortunately we cannot advise on this
Safety:
✔ The wall is not intended for use in publicly accessible locations, playgrounds, schools, etc.
✔ This is not a play structure.
✔ The wall may only be used in combination with an appropriate and safe crash pad / landing surface (not included).
✔ The wall is intended for use by one person at a time.
✔ Maximum total load on the wall is 200 kg.
Frequently Asked Questions
I'm not sure whether the wall will fit in my room. Can you help?
First take a look at the dimensions table. If you're still not sure, please send us an email with your room dimensions, including ceiling height. Ideally send us a clear sketch (hand-drawn is fine) showing the layout of windows, doors, etc. and we'll take a look!
How is the wall anchored to the wall? (wall-mounted version)
There are several options depending on the quality and type of masonry. It can be anchored using standard anchors and screws or by gluing in threaded rods. Let us know which option works for you and we'll send the hardware along with the wall.
What is the minimum ceiling height where I want to place the wall?
It depends on the kickboard height. You'll find it clearly laid out in the table above.
What kickboard height do you recommend?
If at all possible, we always recommend at least a 20 cm kicker. With a low ceiling you will lose the option of setting the wall to a 10° angle, but with a kicker the wall has incomparably greater versatility. A large number of footholds can be placed on the kicker, saving space on the main board; at steeper angles you won't be dragging your feet on the ground; and crash pads / bouldering mats fit under the wall much more easily.
Is the wall compatible with Moonboard / Kilterboard / Tension Board?
Absolutely! Select the hole pattern of your choice in the configurator above.
Can you customise the wall for me?
Basic modifications, such as slightly shortening the support structure due to ceiling height, are something we can do. Modifications to the main board dimensions or other larger changes are unfortunately not something we currently offer.
How will the wall be packaged when it arrives?
We pack on a standard Euro pallet; dimensions depending on configuration are approximately 120 × 80 × 50 cm and the wall weighs 170–350 kg. The wall fits comfortably in a regular car, should you wish to stop by our warehouse and save on shipping. We'll bring the wall to your car on a trolley.
Can I set the wall up outdoors?
We don't recommend it. If you insist, some kind of roof covering must be built above the wall. Even then, due to ambient humidity the wall will naturally suffer more than with indoor use. We unfortunately cannot accept warranty claims arising from outdoor use of the wall.
